We want JotLink to be a great way to connect with others through calls, text messages, and even sharing fun stuff like photos, videos, and files. Here are the basic rules you need to follow to use our service responsibly and keep it that way for everyone.
Understanding our Agreement
- By using JotLink, you agree to these Terms of Use. We might update them from time to time, and we’ll always let you know if we do.
- Please read our Privacy Policy to understand how we handle your information.
- You must follow the law when using JotLink – no spam, harmful content, or security breaches are allowed.
- JotLink isn’t a replacement for emergency services. Please have a backup plan for contacting emergency help if needed.
Important Things to Know
- JotLink works best for people who are of legal age to agree to these terms. If you’re under the age of consent in your country, please check with your parent or guardian before using our services.
- We want JotLink to be safe and respectful. Don’t share harmful content and be kind in our public forums and chats.
- We always try our best to provide a great experience, but we can’t guarantee that JotLink will be perfect all the time.
Your JotLink Account
- Keep your account information up to date, and create a secure password.
- You’re responsible for what happens with your account, so keep your login info safe.
- To manage your account, please navigate to the “Account” tab.
- To delete your account, navigate to “Account”, then “Profile settings”, and select “Delete account”.
Calling, Messaging, and Sharing
- You can use JotLink to call your JotLink friends for free.
- Calling other phone numbers costs money. We’ll always tell you the rates before you call.
- We offer calling plans that can save you money. Be sure to understand our Fair Usage Principles to avoid extra charges.
- If you use someone else’s phone number to make calls on JotLink, we have the right to disable your service.
- Share photos, videos, and files with your friends on JotLink, but remember: be kind and respectful with what you share!
Refunds and Payments
- JotLink Credit doesn’t expire, but if your account is inactive for a while, your credits might be frozen.
- Most purchases are final and non-refundable. We may issue refunds in certain cases. For full details, please check our refund policy.
- Please review any payment terms from third-party payment providers if you’re using their services to buy JotLink Credit.
Respecting Rights
- Be careful what you share on JotLink – some content may not be suitable for everyone.
- If any part of our Services uses content you created, you give us a license to use it in connection with JotLink. Keep in mind, that if you delete the content on JotLink, it may still exist in backup copies for a while.
- If you believe someone is violating copyright laws with content on JotLink, please let us know.
Things We May Do
- If you break the rules, we may have to suspend or terminate your account.
- We may cooperate with investigations by law enforcement.
The Fine Print
- This agreement is the whole deal between you and JotLink.
- If any part of this agreement is found to be unenforceable, that part will be tossed out, but the rest stays in place.
